After months of rumours, Samsung has finally announced a refurbished variant of the Galaxy Note 7. The new model is called the Galaxy Note Fan Edition and will go on sale in South Korea on July 7. The flagship phablet will hit the shelves with a price tag of 699,600 won, which is around $610 at the current exchange rate. That is 40% less than what the Note 7 retailed for last year. Pretty much every color options will be available, including gold, silver, blue, and black.

The new model is made out of unopened units of the original device and the hardware inside is the same, except for battery. Instead the 3,500 mAh, the new battery is smaller at 3,200 mAh.

Only 400,000 units will be sold in South Korea, but the company hasn't yet decided if the phone will be sold in other markets. Since the Galaxy Note 8 will soon be released, the Note FE probably won't reach more markets.
