With the launch of a refurbished Galaxy Note 7 variant called Galaxy Note Fan Edition, Samsung can finally completely focus on its second flagship handset for 2017. The launch date of the Galaxy Note 8 is slated for August, just ahead of the IFA 2017 trade show, and new rumours are hitting the web.

The current Galaxy S8 is only available with 64 GB of storage, if we ignore the limited edition Galaxy S8+ with 6/128 GB of memory, but Samsung will take a slightly different approach with the Galaxy Note 8.

Latest rumours say that the phablet will be announced in two storage variants - 64 GB and 128 GB. Both variants will have 6 GB of RAM, but also be very expensive. The base model is expected to cost $999, while the 128 GB variant is expected to be priced over $1,000.
