It is believed that Apple is preparing three new smartphones that are expected to launch later this year. The new models are a 4.7-inch iPhone 7s, a 5.5-inch iPhone 7s Plus and an all-new 5.8-inch iPhone model that is believed to be the iPhone 8. It's still unknown whether the latter will be announced alongside two other models or not, but we do know it'll sport a reinforced glass chassis, a metal frame, and an AMOLED panel.

According to DigiTimes, Apple's upstream supply chain have begun to mass produce the components necessary for Apple's next-gen iPhones. The report says that Samsung will be supplying the AMOLED display panels for the iPhone 8.

Apple expects combined shipments of the new 4.7- and 5.5-inch iPhones to reach around 25-30 million units, while the expected shipments of iPhone 8 are much higher, at up to 80 million.
