The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei has officially announced the new Y7 Prime smartphone official, a successor to the Y6 Prime smartphone that came out last year. The smartphone will go on sale in emerging markets with a price tag of around $240.

The new model now comes with an aluminum body, which gives it a more premium look, a larger IPS display with 2.5D glass and a huge 4,000 mAh battery. It is powered by Snapdragon 435 SoC, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. The imaging department comes with a 12 MP main and an 8 MP cameras, while Android 7.0 Nougat has EMUI 5.1 interface on top.
