According to latest reports, Samsung SDS, the IT solutions unit of Samsung Group, has decided to drop plans to sell its home network systems business. The company was in talks with Ireland-based Allegion, but the company either failed to reach an agreement or decided not to go forward with its decision.

Samsung SDS is allegedly trying to sell less profitable businesses, and since the home network business makes up less than 2 percent, or 160 billion won ($143.10 million) of the company's total revenue, the door lock business is the first on the list.
