Next-generation iPhones are expected to launch in September and rumours say that both phones will feature the new Apple A11 chipset. The current Apple A10 is already dominating in single-core tests, and it isn't that far behind compared to other flagship chipsets, despite having fewer cores.
We know that the new Apple A11 will bring even better performance and be more power efficient thanks to TSMC's 10nm FinFET manufacturing process. TSMC will apparently start manufacturing the new Apple A11 processor next month, with a production capacity of 50 million units before July. |
