At its event, Apple didn't talk much about RAM amount of the new handsets and many thought that there are no changes over the last-gen. However, according to Geekbench and TENAA, the Plus variant actually features 3 GB of RAM, compared to 2 GB on the standard iPhone 7.

So the Plus version comes with decent improvements over the standard iPhone 7, which lacks dual rear camera setup and has less RAM. The benchmark and certification listings show 3 GB, but we can't 100% confirm this until first units hit the market later this month, on September 16.
